Obertauern Alpine Rope Park – Courage at Lofty Heights
From the Grünwaldkopfbahn, it’s about a 30-minute walk, or about 50 minutes from the Gnadenalm, to the high ropes course. However, you can also park directly at the facility. It is open every Saturday and Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM – no prior registration is required on these two afternoons.

Past rustic alpine pastures and 11 glittering mountain lakes, refreshing stops and spectacular trails beckon. Looking for an adrenaline rush? The Johanneswasserfall Trail or the legendary Stoneman Taurista await. If you don’t have your own bike, simply use the convenient (e)-bike rental service on site.

A special excursion destination in Untertauern is the Wildlife Leisure Park – 11 hectares of nature, animal encounters, and fun for the whole family. Every Monday at 5:00 PM, you can experience 30–45 minutes of exciting insights into Noriker horse breeding and riding operations – no prior registration required.
