Getting Here by Car
To ensure your arrival in winter goes smoothly, we recommend carrying suitable snow chains for your winter tires between November and April. The roads to Obertauern are well cleared, however, in case of heavy snowfall or icy conditions, snow chains may quickly become mandatory. This way you will arrive safely and relaxed.
For your fuel stops along the way:
If you’re coming from the north, you’ll find the nearest gas station in Radstadt (approx. 20 km away); from the south, in Tweng (approx. 8 km away). This way, you’ll start your vacation perfectly prepared.
Getting Here by Electric Car
For guests with electric cars, we offer an in-house EV charging station directly at the hotel. This way you can conveniently charge your vehicle during your stay and start your day ready to go at any time. We will gladly provide you with all details – such as access, costs, and availability – directly upon your booking.
Furthermore, public charging stations and Superchargers are located in the immediate vicinity, should you wish to use additional charging options.

Getting Here by Plane
The most easily accessible airport is Salzburg Airport, about 90 kilometers from Obertauern. From there, you can quickly and comfortably reach Obertauern directly by airport shuttle or taxi – without detours. Your vacation begins as soon as you land.
